Backstage Library Works has been awarded an MSA through the State Cooperative Contracts program in Utah, eligible until February of 2029. This agreement will allow agencies within Utah to contract with Backstage Library Works for the digitization of archival media, to include documents, government records, photographs, bound materials, and more with a simplified bidding process.
The award fulfills “Digitization of Archival Quality Media” services within the State of Utah, drawing from our multi-format and FADGI compliant expertise across two locations. In addition to our primary studio in Bethlehem, PA, Backstage also features a studio in Provo, UT that specializes in certain formats.
“Now that we have a MSA in place, we have been looking forward to an easier, streamlined way to work with all the great institutions here in Utah!” Lori Burt, Account Executive for the Mountain West and Midwest, is especially excited about this new opportunity. “Being a local, I know there are so many valuable and important stories to yet be preserved and shared. Digitization not only makes it easier for researchers to access and use records, but it also opens up other possibilities for education and to promote Utah’s rich history. We are excited to be just a part of that effort.”
