A digitization on-demand service provides libraries a resource for requested materials on an as-needed basis. Through online tracking sheets, orders can be placed easily and materials are added to our queue automatically as they are received. Our focus for this service is to expedite the process for faster turnaround times. For example, an order with two books, 400 pages combined, would be digitized and the files delivered to your library in ten days from receipt.
Our tiered pricing will also help you plan better for expenses, with flat fees for different page counts:
- Tier 1: Bound volumes up to 200 pages
- Tier 2: Bound volumes 201 – 350 pages
- Tier 3: Bound volumes 351 to 500 pages
After TIFFs are quality checked and approved, derivative files, such as multi-page PDFs, can be shared online via cloud-based file sharing as well as with links in your tracking sheet. This allows instant access for your patrons. Physical materials can then be immediately returned or, upon request, be retained for later return as part of a larger shipment, saving on shipping and handling costs.
