New faces at Backstage Library Works.
Jeff Calcagno - Sales representative
Jeff is a new member of our sales
staff. He will be responsible for sales in the
Western US and Canada, including Texas, Oklahoma,
Kansas, Nebraska, North/South Dakota, Manitoba,
and all states and provinces westward. Before
Working with Backstage, Jeff was a founding partner
and director of sales and customer support at Syndetic
Solutions. Prior to establishing Syndetic Solutions,
he worked for over 12 years as a technical services
account manager at Blackwell’s, supporting
library database preparation services including authority
control and tables of contents enrichment. Jeff
received his undergraduate degree from Portland State
Univ. and an MLS from the Univ. of Washington.
Scott Pratt - Vice President
of Sales and Marketing
P. Scott Pratt graduated from the University of Utah with a marketing degree
and spent twenty years in the commercial printing business as a part of the sales
management team for Chicago based Wallace, Inc. Prior to working at Backstage
Library Works, he also spent three years with Toshiba as their market manager.
Scot is in responsible for overseeing the sales and marketing department. He
is married with two kids, and when not at work, Scott can be found fishing, enjoying
the great ski slopes of Utah, or tinkering with one of his many motorcycle projects.

Projects
New projects at Backstage Library Works include
authority control for CSU - Fresno, retrospective
conversion for CCNY Cohen Library, cataloging for
the New York State Milatary Museum and Veterans
Research Center, and a digitization project for
the Tredyffrin Easttown Historical Society.
